Lanie turns 4 on the 28th, so we celebrated her birthday at the pumpkin patch on Saturday. The kids had a blast!!! They got to ride a hayride, get their face painted (which of course Connor was Spiderman), jump in a bounce house and pick out their own pumpkin to decorate. Lanie got a ton of cool presents for her special day, so we went back to her house so Connor could help her play with them. The birthday girl getting some love!!HAPPY BIRTHDAY LANIE-BUG!!

An artist in action!
There is a cool art studio in Frisco that has storytime on Wednesdays. Connor and I went a few weeks back and he listened to a spider story and painted a spider plate. They got to paint the whole plate with different fall colors and then make a spider out of their handprint. Of course every spider needs flies to eat, so they used their thumb prints. We had to leave it for a week so they could fire it. Connor asked a gazillion times when it would be ready. Check out my little artist. He had so much fun and we will definitely have to go back.

Dallas Arboretum
Last Thursday we had a playdate at the Dallas Arboretum. I have not been there in years (more like over a decade). It was absolutely beautiful, even with a ton of mud. One of my friends is a professional photography and she did a playdate photo session with all the kiddos. Here are a few that I took of my two!! We will definitely be going back soon.

Can't believe it has already been 6 months!!!
Happy Birthday Carlee Ann!!! 6 months have flown by and we have loved every minute of it. Carlee is the happiest baby and loves to be on the go. Which makes us all happy!! She has finally gotten over her nighttime screaming fits and really become Daddy's little girl. She weighs 17 lbs 14 ozs (90%) and is 26.8 in long (90%). She reminds us so much of Connor.... rolls, rolls, and more rolls!! Connor is still the best big brother and LOVES Carlee. You would never believe it but he is so gentle and protective of her. Thank you God for giving us two perfect babies!!!

Hello Big Tex
Yesterday we packed up and bundled up and headed out to the State Fair. We had a blast!! We were a little worried about Carlee being in the cold for so long, but she did so good!! Eric's parents had a great idea to bring the extra double stroller for Connor and Lanie and it was the best idea!! It was so nice to not have to chase after Connor and worry about him in the crowds. Even though I am a little disappointed that I didn't get to eat anything fried, it was still so much fun!

Fall Fest and such!
Last night was the Michell's annual Fall Fest. We actually had to cut it short because the weather got pretty yucky and Carlee already has a cold. Connor had a blast playing and of course dancing (his favorite thing to do). We wrapped it up early and went back to Aunt Kellie and Uncle Clint's house so Lanie and Connor could play some more. Fun was had by all. Thank you Michell's for another great party!!
Here are a few recent pics of the babies!!

Flag Football
We can add another sport Connor LOVES to the list. YMCA Flag Football was a little different then what we were expecting but Connor and Daddy still had a blast. They never really 'played' a game but learned more of the fundamentals. This was a great start and we have to remember he is still only 3!!

YMCA
Last week we joined the new YMCA here in Frisco. One of the perks to being a member is the kids can participate in their sports program. He starts flag football on Saturday. Lord, help us all!! I just pray he doesn't tackle like he loves to do. Will post pics next week!
We're off to see the wizard.....
The Wizard of Oz's 70th anniversary was this past week. Some of our friends packed the kids up (in their PJ's of course) and took them to see a special scening. Connor did really well considering this was only his 2nd movie to see and it started at 7:00 at night.
