Happy Turkey Day to All!!

We have so much to be THANKFUL for this year!! Even though Connor was not feeling well and we had to cut our trip short, we still had a wonderful Thanksgiving. PooPaw and Eric took Connor hiking through the "forest" for pine cones and they got to play football. Carlee got a few nibbles of carrots, mashed potatoes and a sliver of turkey. Carrots by far were her favorite!! We hope everyone had a terrific Thanksgiving.

Crawling

Carlee has been scooting around the house for about two weeks now, but this past weekend she has just taken off with crawling. Another trick that she has learned is pulling up on furniture. And yes, that means her crib. She hasn't learned how to get to her feet but I'm sure that is next. Connor is loving her crawling. He will sit a few feet away from her and say "Come here baby girl!" He is such a great brother!! Sorry so dark. :o)

BOO to you!!

What a 'spook'tacular Halloween we had! We headed up to Tyler to witness what Mom and Al have been talking about for years. We gave out 800 bags of candy. You read that right 800!! My Mom and Al go all out for Halloween and they are known for it. There were lines and lines of cars as far as we could see. They black out their garage and hang mummies, witches, bats, you name it. They have 5 huge blow-ups, a fog machine... I could go on and on. We headed out with Connor, Carlee and Rachel around 6:00, but after about 45 minutes Connor was done and wanted to go back to MeMe's house. He had a BLAST handing out all the candy, playing with other kids and just watching. Carlee on the other hand was DONE. She fell asleep pretty early. Connor told Eric that this was the BEST Halloween ever! (And of course Carlee agreed!) Thanks MeMe and PooPaw for making a great Halloween for Connor and Carlee!!! Trick or Treat!
