Church Attire

Carlee looking precious for church!!!

Beginning of birthday season...

On Saturday Connor and I went to Grace's birthday party at WOGA. The kids had a blast swinging on ropes, jumping on trampolines, walking on balance beams, etc. Connor's favorite part was "Swinging on the ropes like a monkey!" He is a monkey! Happy Birthday Grace

Parktime!

On Friday we decided to switch up our playdate since it was so beautiful outside. We meet Jenny, Dalton and Macy at a park in McKinney that had a duck pond. The boys had so much fun playing at the playground and rolling down a hill! This nice lady brought a whole bag of bread and shared with the boys. They had a blast feeding the ducks. Macy and Carlee also had fun!!
This one made me a little nervous... Connor was feeding the ducks from his hand. Dalton feeding the ducks.Sweet girl watching all the ducks!

Uh-Oh

I could seriously stare at Carlee all day long and have a smile on my face. One of her 'new' things this week is standing by herself. She gets so excited and claps her hands and then after a few minutes she realizes that she could fall and she sits down. I have always heard people say that boys and girls are completely different. SO true! Carlee is so cautious! She does not like to be too high. When you are holding her she will hold onto your arms.... like she is saying "don't drop me". She also does not like to be thrown in the air. Connor used to love this and still does. You throw her in the air and she holds her breathe and as soon as you catch her she screams. Carlee also does not like to swing. Seriously, what kid doesn't like to swing? She will pitch a fit and want to get out. She is happy and content with you holding her at the park or sitting in her stroller watching the other kids. Now our favorite thing she is doing right now.... when something is dropped, she falls, Connor falls, etc she will get a smile on her face and go "UH-OH". She knows exactly when to say it also. She is still one of the happiest babies and rarely cries (unless you put her in a swing.)

Backyardigans!!

This morning we all decided to cut our playdate short and head over to MyGym. The Backyardigans were making a special appearance. It was a hit, but I can't decide if Connor had more fun meeting the Backyardigans or just running around playing?!Dancing with the Backyardigans!!

Basketball Star

Connor started basketball on Saturday and he had a blast. It was a little slow pace for his liking, but what isn't. :) They taught him how to pass by bouncing the ball or by doing a chest pass. They also got to shoot. Connor wanted to shoot with both hands, so Eric has been working with him. MeMe and PooPaw bought Connor this all in one sport equipment that has places to play basketball, football, baseball, soccer and hockey. Connor has definitely put it to good use the last few days! He shoots.. He scores (not really but he tried)Dribbling

The race is on!

Happy 9 months Baby Girl!!!

Time sure is flying!! Carlee is 9 months old and getting so big. As long as she has something to hold onto she is walking all over the place. She is starting to eat table foods and loves it. She is so chunky!! She weighs 20 lbs 6 ozs (75th-80th%) and is 28 inches long (75th-80th%). She is such a great baby and very laid back, she just goes with the flow. Connor is still a great brother, we just have to remind him that she IS a baby. He wants to rough house with her like he does with Daddy. Poor girl doesn't know what is in store for her!! She claps when she gets excited and she is learning how to do 'more' in sign language. Carlee still only says DaDa and BuBu over and over. When Connor was 9 months old we had the whole house on lock down, baby gates everywhere, cabinets locked, etc. Carlee really listens when you tell her no and she doesn't want to be anywhere else except for where you are. She will just stay in the living room and play her little heart out. Kind-of nice to not have to worry about her. She LOVES to help do the dishes. She will stand and take everything out one at a time. We have become quick at loading dirty dishes! I can not believe that she will be 1 in a few short months. WOW!
