Lucky Me!!

I am one lucky girl to have such an amazing Papaw!! Even though I know he is watching us with a huge smile on his face, I still miss him and think about him daily. The day after he passed away Connor wanted to color him a picture. I told him that we would tie it to a balloon and it would go straight up to him. Well of course he wanted to color one for Macie also. We tied it up and off it went! We know Papaw is having a blast with Macie playing ball!!

Christmas in Tyler

This year we celebrated Christmas a few weeks early in Tyler due to Eric's surgery. We got to go to Aubree's birthday party at Build-A-Bear and C&C had a BLAST!! Carlee caught on quite fast to what she was suppose to do and all the 'big' kids helped her. Connor was the perfect big brother and picked out Carlee's dogs clothes.. "She needs pink and lots of sparkles!" Afterwards we went over to my Grandma and Papaw's house to celebrate Christmas. We sure missed my Papaw this year but he would have LOVED all the kids running around playing and playing and playing!! The kiddos would have stayed outside all night if we would have let them (until it was time to open presents of course). Once again C&C were completely spoiled! We love you Papaw and miss you very much!!!

Ho Ho Ho

We met Eric for lunch yesterday and got to go visit a special someone. We have always gone to Willowbend and this year it definitely did not disappoint. Mrs. Claus was there!!!! There was no one there.....no one, so the kids really got to talk to Mrs. and Mr. Claus. Mrs. Claus asked Connor where Kirby was (our Elf) and she told him that she just loves Kirby! Connor was so excited to hear this. Then we got to sit and talk with Santa for a few minutes and Connor was beaming from ear to ear. Carlee would not let go of me but was talking to Mr. and Mrs. Claus and kept telling them "Elf, Elf". We knew that when I had to put her in Santa's lab she was going to FLIP. There were no tears but absolutely NO smiles. But when the sweet princess got off his lap she turned around and gave him a high-five and said BYE!

Christmas Musical

Connor has been so worried about the Christmas Musical because he didn't want to be videotaped. We had a long talk that the camera would not be on him the whole time...it seemed to work. Our little guy sang his heart out and he did so good. He absolutely brings a smile to our hearts!!!

Science Fun

Connor and Carlee both LOVE the new Science Center that has opened. Last week we got to go play with The Shoffners and do 2 fun experiments. The boys loved trying to build with the ice cubes, while the girls on the other hand tried to eat the ice cubes. Fun had by all!!!!
