Pumpkins on the Prairie

If the kids didn't love pumpkins before...... they love them now!! We have definitely seen our share of pumpkins this Fall. Grace Avenue has a great pumpkin patch for the kids with games, bounce houses, face painting, a maze and even a hayride!
Sweet babies!!

Rain, Rain Go Away!!

Yesterday we had a fun-filled day with soccer and a birthday party, but then the storm hit. Eric found a huge box we had from our Sam's run and gave it to the kids to play with. Connor and Carlee colored the box and decorated it with stickers. This was hours of fun for them!!

Spooky House

We were walking through Target the other day when Connor saw the Gingerbread Spooky Houses. Of course we HAD to get one. So after dinner Connor, Carlee and Eric started putting it together. Lets just say I am not sure where all the icing went.... the kids, the table or the house. We let the house 'dry' for a few days and then Connor got busy. I was very impressed with how well he did.... considering that he did it about 95% by himself. I don't think I have seen him sit so still before. We might be buying more houses for him to decorate. Of course Carlee wanted to help eat whatever Connor dropped. I guess that is one way to clean up!!

Fall Fun!!

I LOVE everything about Fall.... the weather, pumpkin patches...... I could go on and on. Last week we went to the Arboretum with Ava, Ella, Ryan and Maddie. We had so much fun and couldn't ask for a more beautiful day!! The kids got their faces painted and Carlee got her hand painted (she wasn't to sure about someone touching her face). The kids got to climb all over mounts and mounts of pumpkins and run through all the pumpkin houses. We will definitely be going back soon!!
