Rolling, rolling, rolling
She did it! On Monday the 29th, Miss C rolled from her tummy to her back. I was shocked because she has been trying so hard to roll from her back to her tummy. She can get all the way up on her side, but can't figure out how to roll over her arm. I was folding clothes yesterday and looked and she was smiling on her back. I quickly put her back on her tummy and she flipped right back over. As soon as Eric got home, Connor and I could not wait to show him. Way to go Carlee!!!
Busy, Busy, Busy
Last Wednesday we were on the go all day. It started out with a playdate at Boomerang. This was our first time to ever visit and Connor had a blast. (Carlee slept the whole time!) It is a huge building with a ton of bounce houses and slides. We will definitely be back! We rushed home to take a nap and then off to Main Event with Eric's work. This was the first time Connor had bowled and he loved it. There isn't much Connor doesn't like (except for soccer). On Friday we went to our block party, Saturday morning soccer, then spent the day in Fort Worth/Clebourne, rushed to The Johnston's for fireworks and then woke up early Sunday morning for errands and then a fish fry. WHEWWWWW!! We were all exhausted by Sunday night. Carlee just tags along for the ride and she is so good. We are very blessed that she so easy.

Our child has an attention span of a fly!!
This morning Connor had his first soccer practice. I have no doubt that athletics are going to come easy for Connor. What I doubt is the ability to listen for more than 5 minutes to really learn a sport. Now the practice is only 35 minutes, for a normal 3 year old this should be easy especially since you are running around. Connor on the other hand tuned out after about 20 minutes. He really didn't care to listen or participate until Coach Ian told him he would not get a prize. He picked grass, rolled on his tummy on the ball, wanted to come and give me hugs, you name it. I wouldn't call it a failure but definitely not a true success. You gotta love my little boogies!!!! Coach Ian was amazing with the kids. WOW is all I can say to run around redirecting 3 year olds for 30+ minutes.Connor and his soccer friends! Score!!! Stretch those musclesDetermined
and he's gone.
and he's gone.

First Movie
Last week we took Connor to his first movie, Up. He loved the experience! Eric and I were a little worried that he wouldn't be able to sit through the whole movie, but he surprised us. Towards the end he did get a little restless but he just stood in front of his chair and continued watching the movie. Way to do boogies!!!

Growing Growing
Yesterday we took Carlee to her 2 month appt. Yes, she turned 2 months last week but Dr. G was out of town. He said she is doing great and getting bigger by the day. She is 11 lbs 14 ozs (75th %) and 23.3 in (90th %). Connor loves to talk and sing to her and she has started cooing up a storm. She has also started rolling to her side. I am sure she is going to be rolling completely over very soon. Connor is so good with her and loves her to pieces. He wants to hold her all the time and is very gentle. Connor can make her laugh and smile more than anyone. I hope this bond last forever. :) We are always on the go and she is the best trooper. Thank goodness because I think Connor and I would go crazy if we had to stay home all the time. Today we went to the library and had a blast (better than last week). Life is good!!Grace, Connor and Carlee at the library. The Good-bye SongBubba can always make me laugh
Chunky Monkey at 2 months old.
BTW - Connor was 13 lbs 2 oz at 2 months. Can you imagine how big he was? I love my babies!!

We love you sweet girl!!
The past one has been very hard on us. We had to put Macie down after almost 11 years. She was the best dog anyone could have asked for. Connor loved having his very own dog and we wish Carlee would have gotten to spend more time with her .
We love you Macie and miss you so much!!
